Pingback helps you manage follow-ups by saving messages from your chat apps and reminding you when it’s time to act. We take your privacy seriously and only collect the minimum data needed to make the app work.

2. Data We Collect

  • Local Data: Your follow-ups, contacts you select, and reminders are stored securely on your device.
  • Notifications: We send local notifications (created, due, overdue, snoozed). These are generated on-device and not sent to our servers.
  • Analytics (optional): We may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., feature usage counts, crashes) to improve Pingback. This data is never linked to your identity.
  • Subscriptions: If you upgrade to Pingback Pro, payments are handled by Apple’s App Store. We do not process or store your payment information.

3. How We Use Data

  • To show your follow-ups in the app.
  • To send reminders at the right time.
  • To maintain your subscription status (via RevenueCat).
  • To improve stability and usability of the app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

4. Data Sharing

  • Apple (App Store): Manages payments, subscriptions, and crash reports.
  • RevenueCat: Provides subscription management. Limited purchase metadata is processed (no sensitive personal data).
  • No Third-Party Marketing SDKs: We do not use third-party advertising frameworks.

5. Your Rights

  • Delete Data: All your follow-ups and reminders are stored on your device. Delete the app to remove them.
  • Revoke Consent: You can disable notifications anytime in iOS Settings.
  • Export Data: Future versions may include export/import options for your follow-ups.

6. Security

  • All data is stored locally on your iOS device.
  • Communication with Apple or RevenueCat is secured via HTTPS/TLS.

7. Children’s Privacy

Pingback is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Updates will be posted here and in-app.
